KTM. In general, better built, lighter, more interesting off-road bikes. You can find a better model for a particular purpose from another manufacturer, but without finding anything more than well done.

If cost is a consideration, I have had excellent luck with Suzuki, and to a lesser extent Honda.

Well, all models of high performance on them, no matter how much you spend, KTM has a few hundred more, but when we talk about $ 7000 - $ 8000 a few hundred of not much really. Your question is too wide, we can not answer. What kind of dirt bike? Trail Running Wood, motocross, etc. What? A company may have a slight advantage in the class of 450 and another in the class 250, etc. Frankly, unless a driver who does not apparently make no real difference. It's like a first guitar, try to know if playing a '62 Les Paul more than 59 start. Is not gonna happen.

If money is no problem, I twice saw BMW sport bikes. It is only a guarantee from motocross to rely on the retailer's contract. I think the new bikes have 3 years, 36,000 miles warranty, but check with your local dealer. Expect to spend a fortune, but they are a little expensive.

Your question is very vague because you are a novice pilot, this would obviously not the best option for you it is a heavy motorcycle with a lot of energy. Please explain the problem to more information about this topic.

Your question is too broad. In which category you are interested, bikers on / off-road, enduro, motocross, trial, etc, etc? All the Japanese bikes are so in price and performance that you observe in the vicinity are other things. What is the dealer near home, a merchant who has the best reputation, is a distributor of the biggest brands in the offer price range, parts, service, equipment or running to promote?
